Telluride Gondola Extends Fall Service and Announces 2027 Operating Dates

Extended Service Also Planned for summer and fall 2027

The Telluride and Mountain Village gondola will operate for an additional week this fall, with extended service also planned for summer and fall 2027. The Town of Mountain Village and the Telluride Mountain Village Owners Association (TMVOA) announced the schedule extensions to better support local businesses, residents, and visitors during the shoulder seasons.

The Telluride gondola, a free public transportation system connecting downtown Telluride and Mountain Village, is an important part of daily life in the region. Beyond providing convenient access to the ski resort, it connects residents and visitors to restaurants, shops, lodging, and community amenities in both towns.

Telluride Gondola Schedule: Fall 2026 Through Fall 2027

Fall 2026: Service continues through Sunday, October 25, 2026
Winter 2026–2027: Daily service begins Friday, November 20, 2026, and continues through Sunday, April 4, 2027, at the end of ski season
Summer and Fall 2027: Service is scheduled to resume Thursday, May 20, 2027, and continue through Sunday, October 24, 2027

The extended fall schedule offers an additional week of gondola access beyond the typical seasonal closing date, making it easier to enjoy the region’s autumn scenery and support local businesses before winter operations begin.
