History:
Telluride Consulting was created in 1985 in response to the needs of the real estate community, as well as other regional professionals. For the past 31 years, the company has provided real estate professionals, builders, developers, bankers, appraisers, and individual investors with detailed information and analysis of real estate activity and trends in San Miguel County.
Telluride Consulting filled a specific niche, which continues to grow each year, by offering accurate and confidential data, regional market expertise, and personal consultation.
Services available:
- Subscription Reports:
An annual subscription service providing detailed monthly reports describing every real estate transaction in San Miguel County. This is the “Bread and Butter” of Telluride Consulting. Samples of monthly reports and subscription documents are available on the tellurideconsulting.com website.
- Custom Reports:
Confidential specialized reports and research for tracking specific market segments or historical activity of specific properties. This is the “Gravy”. Custom reports require very little time to produce since all the data have been collected in advance and over 300 templates have been designed to facilitate creating a custom report. These reports generate income from both regular and first-time clients.
- “28-Year Market Analysis” (published April, 2013):
A comprehensive and objective study from January, 1985 through December, 2013 of real estate in the Telluride region. The most publicized segment of Telluride Consulting. Reprinted articles from both local papers, and testimonials from a variety of clients are available on the tellurideconsulting.com website. This publication could be updated and sold in chapters by type or location of properties for a more targeted appeal.

Comparative Income Statements have been prepared using QuickBooks. End-of-Year data for 2006, 2007, 2008, 2009, 2010, 2011, 2012, 2013, and 2014 are available. In addition, a professional “Confidential Business Valuation” for Telluride Consulting was prepared in March, 2001.
